These were some photos taken in about March/April in the CBD and around Crows Nest. Cameron - don't know if you remember, but these were taken on the HP5 you sold me that I pushed to 1600. However, I completely messed up my developing times and under-developed by 9 minutes (recommended 24 compared to 15 actual). Still, the results came out ok.

These were taken on the F after a recalibration of the meter and other fine tunings with old 50 1.4. A beautiful combination.

I think the scanning process I have (D200) leaves a bit to be desired as the tonal range is pretty small.

C&C appreciated as 'street photography' is a style I am gradually getting into, chances permitting.

I like the first Patrick, plenty of interest and it holds the viewer, the processing (thru the film process) works nicely and i like teh grain.

I think I know the gentleman holding the J1 + 10-100 in the first image, if it is who I think it is then he would be a Nikon employee

The pushed HP5 looks interesting enough. It may lead me to experiment with pushing other films.

Love the first. Pushing to 1600 and the grain makes the images take on a different mood. Lovely stuff.

Thanks guys. I do prefer the first as well. I printed it out on Friday night and the grain was very subtle.

I will try some more HP5, pushed and then processed correctly.
