Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. My friend...I thought I posted this picture before, but somehow it disappeared...
Re: My friend...Nice portrait, although I would like to see a touch more DOF to bring his right eye into focus.

Two or three lights, any lens on a light-tight box are sufficient for the realisation of the most convincing image. Man Ray 1935. Our mug is smug
Re: My friend...Hi Zafra - a nice image and I'm happy with the dof - however I get the impression of green skin here (although I'm not sure adding more magenta will fix it) - perhaps go mono?

Re: My friend...Thanks for the comments. I can say that apart from the
background to the left of the face there is no green. There is no green on his face on two different monitors. As far as the his right eye being out of focus, unfortunately I cannot change it as the aperture I used is f/1.6 and I cannot do now much about it. Anyhow, this precisely what I wanted; a very shallow dof creating a sharp silhouette. It is an style I have seen often is mags and books. This the B&W of the same picture. I prefer it to the colour, but the subject liked the colour version.
