I took about a million shots of this spider and this is my favourite. Any comments in regards to composition, colour, possible enhancements would be greatly appreciated....

Dont know if it's me or my monitor, but it seems very dark and can't make out much detail...

It's not dark for me. I really like the detail and lighting. I would like to see the back legs in focus as I find them a bit distracting. The web looks great. Did you light it or was it lit like that?

the colour looks waaaay warm (maybe its accurate, but just looks odd to me.) and subject is dark

Can you provide the original (even nef if you have it?) so i can have a bit of a fiddle?

Marvin, i used a slighly *warmer* whitebalance to get that light around the web...

Mudder, I have seen the image on two lcds as well as a crt monitor and the colours havent deviated too much, so I am not sure...
