What do you do when you're out and about in Sydney, the subjects of your shots are done to death locations like the bridge & the Opera House and the weather is crap? My solution is to go for a high contrast, black and white treatment- did I succeed in getting the drama I wanted?

If you're interested I have a few more from this outing HERE

Hi Peter

#1 is not doing it for me.

#2 is however - like that

#3 has the bones of something good there for me

#4 not so much (probably because #2 is soo much better)

I am a fan of those clouds so #3 and #4 are really doing it for me!

Peter
#3 ticks all the boxes for me. They are all excellent conversions and all good, solid images...but from you, we expect nothing less than masterworks! :D :D :D

Great perspectives of familiar views.
I like all of them. However the last one
is the winner for me.

I like them all. Your comment re all-too-familiar subjects is true eg how to make the coat hanger or the Opera House look different to the 1.567 billion images already made. You've done well here Stubbsy.

Nice lighting on the middle sails of the opera house,
I wonder if adding some grain and a slight vignette to the third might produce something different- its my fave of the group as it is,
