Parking is becoming a problem in some parts of QLD.

Not sure if it is due to lack of parking spaces or poor driver skills :biglaugh:

I think I am going to blame poor parking skills!

"Queenslander" - so now we have to have a State of Oranges on parking!

Not quite so sure - my mum had a 180B I think when I was a very young lad and this doesn't quite look square enough

180B was not a square-ish body. I had one. The 180B didn't have the body crease on the lower section, that this car has.

I think I'm with Ozi here on this being a 120Y.

Both were splendid cars, as was my 200B, but none of them were in the class of my grandpa's pristine Datsun 1600. Those were the days... :D

Just as the 180B was not a 1600, the 200B was never a 180B.

Datsun had a great car in the 1600 - we used to rally one - but as they developed it through the years, it became heavier, less agile, not as much fun, and much less of a car.

The final ignomy was when they tried to resurrect the 1600 in the Stanza.

Very true Gary. Our 200B was an LPG-only model, and in those days it was quite difficult to find LPG at times. After repairing a blown head gasket, the car finally rusted to pieces and is now, I assume, after having passed through Simsmetal, resurrected as a Hyundai, or a Daewoo, or a toaster... :D

I think there are some closet datsun lovers here...

Hey Geoff, this would make a nice night scape I reckon, light paint it with a view of the milkyway in the BG.

And they're coming back into the market place, too. Nissan are bringing the Datsun name back into some of their markets.

And no tree. :)
