Hi Geoff - I like the idea of the first but I'm not so keen on the oof wing nut at the front and the large patch of white top left. Perhaps a squarer crop starting just above the nut?

The second is my favourite of the set, the third not so much - perhaps it needed a little more DoF or to be sharper on all the twine?

Seriously, what a great subject! How about some shots of her hands as she is weaving? I think you have a great subject there and you should push it as far as you can. Nice work.

Me too. I have another with the nut in focus but the other elements of the loom are OOF. Light was not good enough to stop down for greater depth of field.

Had not thought of doing a series, what a great idea. She does all the process from working the raw fibre including, carding, spinning, weaving etc.

Great work Geoff. Good textures and colours and nice controlled use of DOF. The weakest image is the last one IMHO, but the group as a whole is stellar.
