Southern Higlands and it's tulip time

On the long weekend just gone I visited Mittagong and Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands. It's a beautiful part of the country and sprintgtime flowers were in abundance including lots of tulips which gave the chance to dust off my 105 VR macro for some use. It was extremely windy and I had no tripod which made life a little challenging. Here are some of the results.

The first one looks stretched on my monitor, but
I really like 2 and 3.

2 & 3 for me too. Wonderful colour saturation, tack sharp and showing the intricacies of the blooms. Great stuff.

I'm loving #1. It seems like you have lost a bit of detail in the last though. Great seeing images from you Peter

Hi Peter,
I like #2 and #3 is almost there for me too - I'm not exactly sure why #3 doesn't ring my bell - the red/colour is great however - very nicely controlled.
#1 looks a touch shaky to me (slight touch of motion blur)?
