Bridge, Building and a Sunset

Hi everyone,

It's been soooo long since I posted anything! We've bought a house so I've been busy painting etc, so haven't had much time with the camera of late.

I was starting to get an itchy shutter finger so I decided to rework a couple of photos...

In July I won a week touring the NT with NT Tourism and Canon. Had an amazing time and got to hang out with a bunch of photo-journalists and photographers. Highlight of the trip was being the 'light bitch' for one of the pros while we lightpainted the oldest homestead in the NT.

Anyway, here's a shot of the sunset from Ubirr taken with a 8-15mm f/4 L fisheye...

And finally, here's a photo I took yesterday evening of an old rail bridge which was built in 1889 and now set for demolition...

Great to see some images from you Adam. I am loving the last two images, but the first two have some strange compression distortion in the top half, otherwise I would also rate them!

Hi Adam

I like the second reworked image and really like your last and third. The last is very nice work... slinks away considering how unworthy his efforts are... :(

Thanks guys.

I wanted to correct the wide angle distortion, but doing so meant losing a fair bit of the image due to cropping.

Lately I've been leaving some room (where possible) to allow for the correction.
