Taken with a point-and-shoot camera a few years ago, I had
forgotten I had this view of Lake Pukaki (NZ).

Hi Zafra - still a nice image (and I'd love to photograph mountains like that in good light... sigh...). I reckon you could crop the bottom off above the lighter green grassy stuff.

Lovely image and I really like the layers that are present from the mountains down to the trees.

Loving the layers...I would agree that a trim of about 25% off the bottom would improve the image (thirds composition and getting rid of the light green)

Nice shot Zafra, in this case I actually find your drop shadow actually detracts from the image. Its a nice scene and a pano crop would work well too (when does a pano crop not work well ;) )

Thank you for the comments and improvement suggestions...
The reason for the dropdown shadow is because I present the
photos on a black background and give the impression of 3d,
I guess... :D

Thank you aim54. For some reason it did not
occurred to me, but I am glad I followed your
advice.

Credit has to go to Rodney...he was first in with the pano crop idea.....
