My black and white work hasn't only been limited documentary and street work. I've had the opportunity to do some portrait work with performing artists recently.









The smaller versions have lost impact particularly the first three. Full screen at high resolution, the eyes of each person are mesmerising.

#1 is a powerful image and the position of the subject is just perfect.

For me though #4 has special appeal. I like the fact that there is not direct eye contact with the lens.

Can't fault those, great portraits and superb BW's. Nothing to add
