Thanks for the comments guys. To be honest, the only one I really like now is the first, it has some niggling aspects but overall a few days later I am still liking it.
1) I think it could be improved by lessening the way the rock in the middle 'appears' to be pasted into the frame, the lens flare at the very bottom is also bugging me..damn optics. Looks someone left a booga on that rock/water near the sun, must clone that out. 4 Stars.
2) I still like this one as well I guess, however its a bit ho-hum, same old same old, green shit, rocks, some sky and and a bit of LE water...nice but not wow. 3 stars.
3) The rock on the left looks obviously shadowed recovered, the selection is terrible, you can see the black mark on the headland still exists, this should be feathered out. The inconsistent lighting on the rocks gives it a bit of yucky HDR feel, even tho it is a single frame. The water flow did not do what I wanted it too, however this one was the best of the lots. The sky saves it, 3 stars. Oh yes horizon is crooked
4) Could not get the composition I wanted here, sun was in teh wrong place
could get my nice 'S' curve that I had in minds, water flow was crap. Some haloing from shadow recovery still exists..tsk tsk...sky and rays save it. 2 stars.
