Hi there everyone :D

Played around with this Mozzie last night with a few things in PS.
Not very Crisp but still interesting I thought, When I inverted the little Blood Sucking Varmint it really brought out the detail in his or hers :?
body.

Lens: 105mm Micro Nikkor
Hand held : Probably why he isn't that sharp
F2.8 : Probably why he isn't all in focus

Should have used Tripod but it was a quick snap.

Mic.

Inversion worked out okay for this shot, IMO. It has an appealing abstract look that I like, perhaps because it's basically a high contrast tri-color and the subject is easily discerned. Dunno that I'd want it hanging on my wall tho....... 8)

Mic have you tried to invert just the mozzie and leave a normal background?

Very nice.

What did you think of the un-inverted image? I just inverted your image to see what you started with, and I think it looks great.

Also, have you tried to remove some of the image noise? It shows up a bit in the background.

Thanks Guys & Gal,

Yes, it's a bit different. I think I'll try and get one a bit sharper.

Thanks,

Mic.
