Hello there!

There is a family of five Frogmouths in the tree outside my office. I have not yet managed a shot of them all together but I thought this one of a juvenile was quite comical :D

No rotation Surenj - as shot in landscape orientation. Slight crop though. The bird was almost horizontal on that branch.

As I moved around at the base of the tree for different compo's he/she followed my every move with its eyes.

There is so much about this image I love: the exposure, composition, depth of field and the rest of the technical aspects are nailed, but the bird itself, its look, perch just gives it so much character. Well done.

Great shot, love the character that comes through in the shot.
Would love to see it if you ever get the rest of the family in the shot.
