Posted: Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:36 pm#3 is the standout for me. Why? Well, the buildings have the appearance of the 40’s and the overall feel of the picture is not of today. The black and white treatment just adds the cream.

My fave is the beach at Manly, as already mentioned - the mono conversion gives it a feeling of a long time ago. There are several prints around the markets in Manly that are taken from a very similar viewpoint from the 40's and 50's, not a bikinni to be seen, and the gents wore suits and top hats - on the beach! wtf!!?
