Then again I don't know what constitutes Still Life, just thought Still Life was all that arty farty stuff where you take a photo of forks under some sort of lighting that produces nice shadows, welding gear (like done here) or a horse saddle with stirrups on a bed of straw etc. Taking a photo of some flowers tends to me to come under Nature photography.

Kipper - I suppose anything that is not moving could be defined as a still life - except maybe a corpse

If it was a noobie that posted... i'd say it was good and needed a little bit more contrast..
