Back with a vengeance

Hello everyone,
Opposed to popular belief I am not dead....
Been very busy the last few months but now am back with the scheme of things and
BOUGHT a 40D.
After having my 400D for 7 years I believe I have mastered it in every way possible. During my NZ trip I used my Mother's 5D and was converted to the bigger solid feel of the pro bodies.
Once back in Oz I decided I could afford a 40D or preferably a 50D...
Watched few on eBay and threw a $285 bid on a clean 40D with 16000 clicks. Thought not bad value as for that I can keep my 400D as a backup.
So far haven't take the 40D out as awaiting a battery grip this week but will make sure to get a few shots soon.
Here's just a couple over the last few weeks... Don't worry my partner @ Pukaki/Mt Cook one is only a happy snap... I took close to 200 pics of Mount Cook from there, got so low to the lake mum's 5D alittle damp on the strap lol
All but that pic was taken with 400D and 50mm 1.8
