Sometimes I just look at this stuff and wonder why I photographed it...what caught my eye...stopped me.....and made me go to the trouble to frame it and shoot it. And sometimes I gotta admit I don't bloody know.

I can reassure you you are not the only one. It happens
to me too, but I blame on senility.

For the first two - lines of course - the second may even make a good mono I reckon

I'm not sure what with the third - then again I'm a newbie so...

The first is interesting that all for me.
Number 2 I really like it.
The third does nothing for me.

I quite like the 2nd, I wonder if cropping the rotten/unpainted pale on the right might improve it. Gritty mono conversion pehaps?

I like number two for the contrast between the new and the old rotting paling, but I think it should have a more contrasty processing.

Exactly what I was thinking before I saw this reply..
Whenever I get a pic I'm unsure of like this I slap it into B&W and crank up the contrast.
Things just work in mono

Matt, is it just me or do your horizons seem straighter since you bought the XPro?

Matt, I like the second image, simple patterns with a standout feature always work well and you have shown us here a prime example. I think it is key to keep the colour in it (for me) since the lacquered panel really hits me as a anchor point.
