Freddo visited our house this evening. He was begging to be shot, by a camera that is...
My daughter held an LED torch for me, and I hand held my Fuji X10, in the dark. Here he is:

A little bit blown out, but nicely done. If you could being back the exposure but -0.7 and warm up the WB a bit you have some winners!

Look at that smirk! He looks like he's had a few too many beers...Are you sure you didn't offer him anything to loosen him up?

Freddo?

That's clearly a slightly too hot Kermit.

Pull the flash down by about 1/3 stop, but otherwise, we can share his legs.

I tried shooting at -1.0 and even less but it was difficult to slap mosquitoes and hold the camera still. Actually, I could hardly see the screen to compose the shot, so it was hit and miss at best, but a lot of fun.

As for flash, my daughter was holding a torch, her arm bent around a tree branch, while I contorted against the railing to try and shoot the little fella. Unfortunately he was facing the wrong direction for me, but I didn't want to move him in case he ran/hopped/flew away etc.

Hopefully he will return later this week and I can get a better set up for shooting.

As for frogs' legs, well, I didn't have the heart to pull him apart! :biglaugh:

That's the way it is with greenies. He is the original tree hugger... :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
