a bit inconsistent at the moment. its gonna take a good 2kgs of beans to get those blades bedded in cos they're ripping the shit out of the beans. im also running it alot finer than i think it should be at. and a double shot dose in taking alot longer than what ive read online...its grinding a double shot dose in 22seconds and it should be around 16 or so. will take me some time to get it right.

Indeed... and a giotto to be fed along side... pretty much a mirror of my setup although I've stuck with a simple mazzer manual.

Yeah the old girl is still going after a board replacement a couple of years ago. Mines one of the earliest
models with the half moon pressure gauge back when ECM made the Giotto.

Looks like a 2nd generation or newer Giotto with the larger chrome fittings on the steam/hot water knobs. Lovely machines.

Yes, it is a 2nd gen. The worst generation, right before ECM went belly up. lol

Very neat set up! You should open a coffee stall in your garage every Sunday morning.
I feel lucky that I am more than happy with taste etc of nespresso (I also put instant/filter coffee through it!) as this looks like a very time consuming/expensive/ space intensive task. [runs and hides from the coffee mafia]
