Macavity's a Mystery Cat: he's called the Hidden Paw--

Whilst technically a nice shot I see 2 areas that could have improved the image...the location is scrappy and no self admiring cat should be placed into such a non complimentary scene...and second, had you dropped down on 1 knee to lower the point of view the image would have been more imposing.
Finally...what does McCavity think of the image?

The POV was my first thought too.

Agree with the point of view comment, but I like the background - it doesn't fit the story, but it seems to suit the image.

The subject was impassively observing what I was doing not
really trusting me. I was an unwelcome visitor and a foreigner
to boot. When he saw I was attempting a second shot, he
simply turned his back and calmly moved away as if saying
“come back once you’ve learned to use that thing”.
