A charmer

I took this photo before he realised. He was surprised when I put some notes
in his hand without performing first and quickly turned my camera and back
on him. Then, he was swamped by a hoard of photographs hungry tourists.

It actually took me a while to see the snakes there zafra - they are almost camouflaged there in this mono image - did the snakes go up in the air like you see in the movies?

yiu have a wonderful ability to take timeless images. my only suggestion would have been a slightly lower angle. its a fantastic shot though.

Thank you both for your kind comments. Actually, Remorhaz, I
did not stop to watch his show; I guess they did. As soon as I turned
my back, a group of tourist encircled the man and I could hear some
women screaming behind my back. Just as well snakes are deaf.

This is a great photo, highlighting the nonchalant attitude of a snake charmer. The rest of us would be petrified being so close to the animal, but here he is, arm dangling, casual. Great shot.
