Joined three friends for an epic day of photography. Our gourmet feast of photographic delights included a 3:30AM start, a sunrise seascape session, a day shooting at an air show, a sunset seascape session, a light painting session in an abandoned railway tunnel with a post midnight finish.

Part One we visit the lazy coastal town of Austinmer (about an hours drive south of Sydney) for a dawn seascape shoot at their tidal pools.

I'd be interested in any post processing suggestions for any of these

and just on sunrise

about 15 minutes after sunrise (6:45AM) we got a second chance with the sun breaking through the lower clouds and underlighting the high clouds

Later still (about 50 minutes after sunrise - 7:20AM) we got awesome God rays streaming down off the coast through a really interesting pattern of clouds in the sky

Some great images there. The first two, I think it would help to make the blue in the sky darker. My eye tends to go out there rather than where it should. The last two, I think more contrast in the foam may help.

Thanks Murray - and I totally agree on the second count. I'm still a little ambivalent on the first two - I'll see what lowering the colour temp of the sky in the first two do for me - thanks

A minor rework of the first:

and a more major rework of the last:

Both greatly improved, I think.
