Some more shots from a brief visit to Rutherglen, Glenrowan and Millawa wine regions in North East Victoria. These shots are all taken at Baileys winery in Glenrowan.

Stubbsy,
After touring the North East Victoria region, have you find any block of pure gold? it will help you to fund the cost of the fuel for visiting the Sydney meets

Nice shot of a real life Furphy there Stubbsy... Interesting that it has some (what looks like) Arabic text on it as well... Wonder why?

These are wonderful, Stubbsy...you did have a good weekend, didn't you!!
The first one is brilliant, I really like the colours and the soft focus. It gives a nice romantic feel to it! I really like the B&W tree aswell. Well done!

Sadly no. But I've saved a little cash to buy either an SB800 or a 50mm/1.4 and have a full tank of fuel ready for next Saturday.

Well I took a few 6-10 year old bottles from my cellar to drink and spat everything I tasted (good boys don't swallow
) so I DIDN'T get drunk while tasting (I probably tasted about 130 wines over 2 days - you do the maths)

Mudder - yes the soft focus was intentional (used 3 different NikColor Efex filters in NC to achieve it)
Leek - I wondered about the arabic writing too, given the age of the water cart - but then maybe the writing is a furphy
Killa - yep only a few will get it

That first shot is very appealing, stubbsy. The others are also good, but the first should be a hanger. Very nicely done.

The soft focus is my pix, the others are good but this one stands out......even with soft focus have a look at it with a bit more contrast and I think it will jump at you......

Thanks all for the comments. #1 was a bit of a dilemma for me and I did a lot of work on it. Out of the camera the shot was great, but I wanted to give it a more dreamy look to go with the feel of the old cart. Did lot's of experimentation before I was happy with this. Strangely I like both the colour and the B & W version.

I actually like the second two. The frame within a frame with those beautiful wood grains, and the circle in a square, one of my favorite combos with beautiful colours.
The first one makes me want to rub my eyes to see it more clearly.

These are great Stubbsy. I too especially love the 1st one. I also prefer it in colour, seems a little too flat in B&W. Well done!
