Stopping Time @ Forresters...

In the lead up to an epic evening of light painting at Forresters beach on the NSW Central Coast I got out the Lee BigStopper for a long exposure seascape.

Four minute LE with a Lee 0.6 Hard Grad ND, Heliopan CPL and the Lee BigStopper for a really dreamy seaside look

Just so you can see the comparison to a "normal" shot at the same time - here is the frame I took immediately before the above (with just the Lee 0.6 Hard Grad ND & Heliopan CPL)

They work individually for me, but not as a duet - too much contrast.

Yep - thanks Zafra - I only did the duet to highlight the difference between two consecutive frames and what a difference changing one variable can make (in this case massive shutter length) - but now that Mj put the triptych idea in my head I'm going for it... :)

I was actually thinking of an image, in the set, the complete opposite... by stopping time I was meaning a short exposure :D
Nothing wrong with going the full monty and having 4 or more images showing the range of course
