They work individually for me, but not as a duet - too much contrast.

Yep - thanks Zafra - I only did the duet to highlight the difference between two consecutive frames and what a difference changing one variable can make (in this case massive shutter length) - but now that Mj put the triptych idea in my head I'm going for it...

I was actually thinking of an image, in the set, the complete opposite... by stopping time I was meaning a short exposure
Nothing wrong with going the full monty and having 4 or more images showing the range of course
