Welcome to the forum, Justin!

What do I think? I think you're going to love it around here! Nice pics! Perhaps a little too much in the foreground of the second, and maybe straighten the third one slightly?? Otherwise a great shot! Well done for a first post....looking forward to seeing more, so keep 'em coming!

G'day Justin, welcome to the forum :-)

The first one seems a dark foreground, wonder how that would've looked in portrait with more of the traffic being swallowed up by the bridge?

The second dunno, maybe too arty for me, as I'm probably pretty boring in my stuff...

Really like the third one though, the lone bird sillouhette really does it for me, I'd be tempted though to either clone or crop out the bit of branch that's coming into the frame just above the power lines...

Some of the other more experienced members might have more useful suggestions...Keep the shots coming, it's refreshing to see a different viewpoint...

Cheers.

Hi all - thanks -

On the Bridge photo - it was originally in portrait (I had a hard time finding the original as I forgot!) here it is (unretouched from NEF):

And great suggestion on the bird shot now you point it out I can't avoid seeing it - hows this. However the post in the pic really is wonky I know the picture would look better if straight.

Thanks!

Wow, I hope you were in a safe spot when you took that shot looking into the bridge

I'm amazed at the difference with the cropped(?) shot with the bird sillouhette, that's made a huge difference (at least to me  ) Isn't it amazing how once someone mentions something in an image you can't help but look at it afterwards...?

Cheers...
