Having fun with the Nikon V1!

This may seem like one from left field, but the other day I was talking to a friend at Hardly Normal. He had a Nikon V1 twin lens kit going cheaply, so I took out the CC and brought it home. (I may split the kit up and sell it, but I thought I'd have some fun first).
Boy oh boy is this a fun camera. I've never even touched a Leica, but this thing is the best built camera I've ever seen. Period. The LCD screen is stellar, the EVF excellent. AF is outstanding. It is also the only camera I've seen that shoots absolutely silently. There is no sound at all. Zilch. IQ, though only from a one inch sensor, is outstanding. The processor is the same as used in the D4, which means it's blindingly fast. Sure, it's not a bokeh monster with a 2.7x sensor, but who cares? (The slow motion feature is a blast. I had some fun yesterday stalking some rainbow lorikeets in the neighbour's yard, and the footage is amazing considering it was quite dark.)
Here's a few portrait snaps taken from the Woolies' car park this afternoon. The picture of the ugly bloke was taken by Robyn. The camera just doesn't miss focus. (It's not my dog btw!)
