That's rather impressive. Pretty good sharpness for 400mm hand held. In the future, though, it'd be much better if your test models were in bikinis....
addendum: I'm willing to bet that you'd be very pleased with the shots done without the 2x TC and had you then zoomed with your feet to get the same FOV.
