Sofala

There I was all prepared to ride a horse at Sofala in NSW. The horse knew I hated riding so I ended up wandering around this old town. The picture was taken in an antique shop and I am posting up two versions so that you knowledgable people can tell me which you prefer.

This an interesting still life. the left shows a bit on
the dark side on my screen, but I like the light spreads
on the photo.

I vote for #2 Chris... I find the play of light on the bottles works best with this treatment... IMHO the straight b&w feels a bit flat.

#2 There is more detail in the shadows and the treatment works well with the subject matter.
