A few images from my stroll downtown Calgary. It was a nice day, and I just felt like taking pictures. Any comments are appreciated.

3, 5 & 6 are pretty cool. I like the statue of the two men with the old comic strip behind it. :D

Neeper - these are great shots of another part of the world. They are both fascinating and well shot - thanks for sharing

#3 and #6 for me. I just love perspective shots!

Seems there's a bike issue in Calgary. One pic the guy has removed his front wheel and locked it up with the other wheel and the bike and then in another shot some dude just leaves their bike lying on the ground :D

These are fabulous Neeper. I'm trying to figure out which is my favourite, but it's a tough choice!

I like the 1st, LOVE the 3rd, 4th is great too (have you tried this one in B&W?). 5th is interesting (shame about the 3rd leg!!) and the 6th is great the way your eye is led in. For some reason I really like the last one too, I like the colours that stand out against the path, and it looks like someone was in a hurry!!

Well done, and looks like a beautiful part of the world!

I've seen people take their front wheel off and lock it to the back one... What impressed me more was that they had also taken their saddle off and taken it with them...

Great photos Neeper... The sort you could stare at for a long time... Not many people around though... Must've been early...

It was actually 5:00pm. Downtown is absolutely dead on Sundays.

Bro, those photography classes are paying off. First, the beautiful bride, now beautiful cityscapes. :)

Show us your t-shirt and short shots.

Great shots comrade! I love the colors and the depth. The statue one is my favorite, I really would love to see that shot with the fellow walking behind the statue framed in the pillars or just to the left of the statue.

Might I suggest you leave a space in between the shots so that they are easier to view? (and holy did that take a long time to load, anyone else or is my computer just tired?) BTW, just bought, am buying a place in Downtown Vancouver so I'm heading to do some urban stuff as well.

Hi Neeper,

I like your shots, I find them to be like:
here are some subjects or objects of interest that I like to show;
here they are.
And you've done it well.
Also I always like to see images from other parts of the world.

Cheers
CD

Stormygirl, I did a B&W conversion on a couple pics just for you. What do you think?
