I would have liked to see a little backlight, the dark hair blends too much with the dark background. But then again it could be my screen.

Those lights were set up very nicely. The pictures are excellent for their technical quality but I think the first pic looks a little posed.

Posted: Mon Apr 04, 2005 8:54 pmGood studio shots ......... but to improve them I would add a back hair light, up high and falling on her hair and shoulders, this would make the subject leap off the background, rather than merging as of now

Posted: Mon Apr 04, 2005 10:31 pmI know nothing of studio work, so will only say that 2 & 3 are very good shots, IMO. She's a lovely lady that you captured quite nicely.
