Like grandmothers at a Gowings' rummage sale, seagulls are pestilent companions at the best of times, especially when you are enjoying fish and chips at the Sawtell headland this evening. The focussing capabilities of the little V1 are astonishing, even in fading light.

Couldn't help but photograph these young fellas street racing at the Sawtell street markets earlier this evening.

I love #2. It has a narrative and is delightful.

Ozi - #2 especially as I love Sawtell. I nearly bought a penthouse on the top of the hill in Sawtell back in the day and have always regretted not going through with it.

And you could have bought it for a song, no doubt! My wife's grandpa could have purchased most of Padstow for next to nothing, but they all said no one would ever live that far out of Sydney!

Sawtell still has that small village feel, thankfully.
