Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Firstly the critique: I like the photo but would suggest taking the poster back by at least 50%.

The bottle - this would be great if you are pissed as it would then look like any other bottle :rotfl2:

Thanks for the comments. The bottle itself hasn't got that
shape, in fact s straight. What you see is a montage of four
photos to create the effect using layers. Last time I was in
Madrid I visited the Reina Sofia Museum and I saw a painting
by Juan Gris and I thought I could do something with similar
elements, but more in my style. This is the link:

http://www.juangris.org/The-Bottle-of-Anis-del-Mono.html

The big difference is that the original is a painting and I
am using photographs.

I'll work on reducing the poster size by a 50% and then I'll try
to get pissed to see if I can see it like any other bottle. :D

Hi Chris

The original painting on which the image is based
was made by Juan Gris a Spaniard who migrated
to Paris and was part of Picasso's circle of creative
friends. I also liked the photo in the paper - one
we can all relate to.
