Merry Xmas everyone. Stay safe and have a well earned break over the holidays. Look back with nostalgia on a fantastic year that is about to end....and forward to an even better one in 2014.

Well I spent a good part of the year renovating my flat at Marsfield. All finished now and tenants moved in. It may have paid itself off in a couple of years.

Before during and almost after tryptich.

Hopefully I will find time for a few photos in the coming year.

I haven't posted anything for most of the year. I've just been slack to be honest

For me the most memorable moment from 2013 was my 3 week trip to Yellowstone. I shot a truck load of photos, but one of my favourites is of this Red Fox...

It's images like yours that are the reason I love photography. One day that fox will be gone...that wilderness will be gone....but your photograph will endure. Generations of the future will look at your image and say, "Gosh! So that's what it was like. It must have been so beautiful!".

I know what you mean.

I also think in the future people will think we were crazy to flock to the world's largest super volcano too!

No images today, but a merry Christmas to all in DSLR-land. I'm singing in a mens' quartet tonight (singing "The Holy City") at our church's carol night, so maybe I'll get a few images to post from there. Singing and photographing at the same time should be interesting...
