This is a great candid but unfortunately it somehow defines the India of today. A man looking at pictures of women in a magazine when combined with the terrible happenings in India tells a more sinister story.

Thanks for that comment. I didn't realised it could be
interpreted that way in light of the current events in
India. So, perhaps my timing has been unfortunate.
At the time of clicking, I only saw a truck driver doing
some reading while waiting in a queue for a job. When
I was cropping the photo, I was bemused with the idea
that he would be reading the Indian equivalent of Mills
and Boom or "Monthly Bride", but I saw nothing sinister
in it.
Brides and grooms advertise their readiness for marriage
listing the conditions and they or their families then go
through elaborate negotiations before the wedding take
place.
Please don't think there was any hidden meaning or
derogatory intention in this posting. It was meant simply as
a candid shot - as candid as it guest.
