I love that first image!!!! But I don't why???????
And that's what makes it so great!!!
Perhaps it's the balance of the visual elements that just make it so easy to look at.

Yeah - me too - maybe a little too poppy but it seems to work (esp that train popping right off the image)

crop it (first one) to pano then it will smack you in the face
