The Artist

I would have liked to have seen the concentration on the face of the painter, but I didn't ask for permission for the photo, so I just captured him from behind.

I think the artist is good as is...it has a greater impact precisely because you don't see his face and the story is in his action on the canvas. Seeing his face and not his painting would had been less powerful. I am not sure if a b&w or sepia treatment would add or detract to the message.

I think a slight vignette would help the first. It would tone down the exterior top left and help concentrate the attention where it should be.
