Posted: Sun Apr 27, 2014 1:09 pmThank you for your comment. Yes, the image is slightly darker in the lower part as a result of resizing it. I took the picture in Karnataka (India); unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the river or the small village we stayed outside Thrissur. I don't think we can get a sunset quite like this in Brisbane; we don't have enough pollution to get that effect, thank God.

Although now that I think a bit more about it, the foreground would have some buildings in view.
