The local club had a talk by
John Cooper on capturing bird photos, so i thought I would give it a try. I thought his hides (made from an old wool bale) were a tad on the primitive side though.
And my hide?...

I did pull the other curtain back for the photo. I don't see why a hide has to be a primitive little sack.You're just jealous.

You've gotta hide calling that a hide.
And you should be dressed in karki with blackout on your face (perhaps you were).
Also should be equipped with a small silver sniffer flask.. not a crystal decanter as can be evidenced in this image !!!

First shot is excellent. And yes, comfort levels of this shot are not to be copied. Photogs should be cold, wet and miserable as often as possible.
