Took my D70 to my first real "event" this weekend, got a few good pics. Since we were outdoors it really made me wish I had the Nikkor 28-200 lens, the next lens I think I will get. This is was my dad's dog's big weekend, his first field trial.

I took these with the kit lens. Nothing breath taking photography-wise, but they told the story well. Got home and burned my parents a DVD slideshow I made with the Mac. Digital photography really makes creativity convenient!

1 & 2 nice shots, could of done with a bit of fill lighting to remove the shadows off of the gentlemans face.

Last shot of the canyon the sky looks a bit overexposed. Plus the canyon looks a bit washed out in spots. What does everyone else think?]

I like the story line it works. #21 is a lovely shot but the pic of the gun makes me think that the loser was being taken away to be shot
