Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Looks like a wonderful place to visit...with a camera! Nice image. It is a great example of how much information 1 photograph can contain. Information that is unambiguous, compact, and can be understood across all languages without the need of an interpreter. Such is the power of photography.

lovely shot.
I was in Bath with my daughter and son in law, we parked in a carpark out of the town centre.
Walking down a street towards the baths we think? A postie on bike rode up towards us, so we ask him the way to the baths.
He said he did not know what we were talking about and rode off.

Thank you for your kind comments.

The Roman Baths are, I believe, under that dome on the left of the picture. So the postie on the bike was very unhelpful to tourists considering the city's income depends on tourism. Unfortunately, I was on a lot of pain having twisted my ankle twice and I was walking with a swollen foot and using a pocket camera, with which I took this photo, and an iphone. But, nevertheless Bath is a beautiful city full of history.

Matt, you and your camera would love it!
