All excellent mate. I would like to have seen #3 without the vignette.

I'm wondering why the vignettes? IMHO, they add nothing to some great images.

I like all your photos. They have good colours and are well framed. However, vignetting and other effects some times take away from the pictures rather than enhancing them. I am afraid to say that your pictures are better off without the vignettes; they are good on their own right.

Lovely Photographs, I agree about the vignette. The southern ocean is freezing to me all year around which explains why we head north every year to enjoy the warmer ocean!

I disagree with the posts on vignettes in that, whilst your are overdone and are distracting....the trick is to add the vignette and then back it off so that it is barely perceptible....but still there. It is a very fine balance to achieve and should always be underdone rather than overdone....but it is an effective tool for holding the eye in the centre of the image space.

Love your shots, first is my pick, the use of the slow shutter helps make this a great image. In regards to the vignetting, there are no rules in the world of photography, do what you think looks good and make the image your own, not what someone else says it should be! That's the only way photography has ever progressed :)
