This group, taken with available light on the Fuji X-pro is about at the very edge of where I would go with available light. It was shot at 1/18th of a second at 2500 ISO. This copy has had little PP but the final version will have some careful adjustments made to it so that it will print well at about A3 size. It has surprisingly very little noise...nothing a bit of TLC won't be able to cure. A few years ago I would have dragged in the reflectors and the strobes for this kind of photograph but time was a major constraint and digital technology came to the rescue. Participants came from all over the world for the 1 week workshop including the USA, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Austria, Sri Lanka, England, Borneo and Saudi Arabia. Most paid about $2000 for the course, accommodation and food at the Kincoppal Girls High School at Rose Bay....a location with the most beautiful view of Sydney Harbour. The Course was run by Dr. Paul Lam, an internationally known tai chi master trainer and he has been running this particular Sydney course for over 17 years. As both a participant and the photographer I had a very busy week.

The person in the fourth row, seventh from the centre, blinked. You'll need to reshoot.
