Hi,
Haven't posted an image for a long time. This one is in my pixspot gallery (so sorrry to all that have already seen it) but here you go....
Taken with the famous 70-200VR, which seems to have trouble focusing at infinity latley (anyone else having trouble with this? or am I the unlucky one?)
Photoshopping was USM, cropping, contrast and Hue adjustments.
Critique and comment welcome.
Cheers,

So that's where my sleeping bag and spare tyre ended up...
Lovely shot Craig. The angle gives it a fresh dimension and the colours are beautifully rich.

You can include me on that, so that's three for "juxtapose" - any advances?
Cheers

shucks
I do owe a lot to cropping to get the composition, so its probably not as tricky as it seems..... but thanks for the kind words all.

Craig - excellent composition - maybe you should have entered it in the challenge

G'day, Even though I've seen that one I still liked seeing it here...
Lots of detail on the underside of the glider and para-sail, and terrific with the moon in the shot... Almost as if they're both heading for it... Couldn't get better positioning if you tried... Good catch

Hi Jordan,
Love the shot! The moon (obviously) composes this picture beautifully.
I too have your problem with the said lens. I have tried focussing manually but for this kind of shot the moment is over before you can release the shutter. Just wanted you to know It's not just you!

Thanks Marcus,
Maybe we should tell Nikon about it some time before warrenty runs out

Just had a question - is the moon real in this shot or was it photoshopped in?

Fortunatley real. I couldn't believe my luck, just driving by a headland (Lennox Point) and were a few paragliders and hangliders out. As the day moved on the moon became more and more prominent. Got heaps of other shots with the gliders and the moon. I took over 100 shots - it was a great opportunity.

Wow, wonderful colors. The moon being in there does it for me. Nice picture.
