Pelicans on Jarvis Bay

I have seen a few like this effect lately, so found this in the library. Thoughts, like, dislike? Do I have to much foreground?

Nice use of lines Tony. Boat makes for an interesting picture.

I'd be inclined to crop the foreground, and perhaps the left side as well.

Or for something very different, crop from the right.

I tell you, little grass hopper.....empty space in a photograph..... can be like silence......in music. It can signify peace, tranquillity, calm and harmony. Rare qualities in todays world. :up:

I agree with the comment above. I believe that cropping bottom and left leaving the pelican on the bottom two thirds would improve the scene and photo further.

I'd also vote to shave a bit off the bottom. I am unsure about left or right, or even to crop from the sides at all, I cant find a compromise between the wide format and de-centering the pelicans without an aggressive crop
