These were taken whilst I was in Singapore in December, the food over there is amazing. Two very different kitchens and two very delicious specialties.

I like the second best. They both tell their stories, but the second conveys the pressure of work better. Having worked in restaurants and hotels for many years I am familiar with the high demand of service at pick times.

I really like these Cameron, whilst it's a very cliché subject, that still does not detract from them, especially since you have nailed both of them, the only thing that would improved the second in my view, is eye contact and that dark blob on the left removed.

I would have loved to have stuck around and get a better shot at the 2nd. Shame was the lines were moving and I only had a VERY small window of opportunity on this one. That blob would be the person in front of my in the line.

The second sells the story better. The heat, the cook's hair plastered down by the sweat, the steam rising and the motion of the cook's hand tells me what it's like in that kitchen. I didn't even notice the blob until you pointed it out. It's not significant enough to be a distraction from the cook's expression and the other details I pointed out.

I too like the second image Cameron. A classic "shoot the chef" contender that captures the atmosphere over the stove. Nice one.
