Our Lady of the Aurora

The image of the Virgin of the Aurora (Our Lady of the Dawn) is the last paso (float of sculptures representing events of the Passion) of the Holy Week in Seville. In this representation the Holy Mother has no tears as She knows Jesus is risen and there is hope.

A strangely beautiful image. Perhaps it's her expression, which is so difficult to read?
