A few random shotsWent for a drive a few weeks ago just a few random shots.
I liked the flower vine Apples I think A horse running
Re: A few random shotsWhile the flower vine is nice, the rust on the rail being used as a gate post does it for me.

Re: A few random shotsI agree that the rust is what makes the first picture. I also like the 3rd pic because of the colours and composition.
Re: A few random shots
Thanks Gary, this shot to be is a classic example of what the eye can see, as opposites to what the camera see's. I have to think more about these shots.
Appreciate the comments. I have a view in mind of a shot looking out of a window, maybe I need to try a window frame/wall thingy.
Re: A few random shotsThe third picture work for me as is without any unnecessary frame added to it. it is a natural rural scene. It has a sense of open space a very green, I'd say luscious, grass contrasting with a clear sky. The animals in the distance add interest to the landscape giving it a serene rural peace. On the other hand, your second picture requires, I think, an interesting element to give it dynamism e.g. an animal or person. What you can do, however, is trying to photograph the same landscape with some animals closer to the camera, if you are not happy, and see if it works better for you.
