I know how much you chaps here love the sculptures by the sea

Lightpainting the art is a bit of ritual for me now and its the only reason I would take the time to look at them, every year I say I won't bother next year but sure enough.. here I am again :)

Gerry that first one is unbelievable. I have no idea how to light paint, but you have done a masterly job here.

The commitment isn't that hard. It's getting up at the times Gerry gets up at in order to make these awesome images that astounds and confronts me.

They reckon it's dark in the early hours of the morning. I'll take Gerry's word for it.

thanks guys/gals,

both these were taken at fairly respectable hours around 9ish at night. The second is one with the moonrise which was at 9pm on that night.

It's the best time to visit the sculptures since the crowds have moved on and there are very few people about :) just the way I like it..

Ozi, light painting is pretty easy, both these were made using a couple of bits of EL wire (Electroluminescent wire) and a multicoloured torch, basically with these two items the possibilities are endless :)
