The old man and his flowers

My father-in-law is approaching his late 80s, and his delight in life is growing flowers.

clearly the flowers make this shot ;) seriously tho, lovely image with excellent light - the important point here is that you have made a image that could easily be flat and lifeless but with the correct light it becomes 3D like and full of interest. 2 thumbs up:)

Interesting comment Gerry and many thanks. The shot was taken indoors under poor fluorescent lighting, no flash, handheld against a green background. I de-saturated the green and cyan channel and applied a slight filter to enhance 3D effect. Fuji XT-1 with 35mm F1.4

Anything with a flower in it gets my approval but some get a hearty applause for being excellent, just like this shot.
