My eye starts with the plant, neat and in the middle. It is then drawn to the wires at the top of the image, out of focus, but wonderfully leading one's eye to the telegraph pole in the background, down, and then back to the plant, neat and in the middle.

Posted: Mon May 02, 2016 6:49 pmI was once friends with an award winning newspaper photographer who told me his whole philosophy on photographic composition could be distilled as "Neat and in the Middle".
